This is made from red lentil flour and water. It has a third of the carbohydrate value of a standard dried pasta, and half the calories.
I found it hardly different to standard pasta. It benefited from boiling for an additional minute or two than the packet advised. And it doesn’t soak up sauce in quite the same way as a standard pasta. But this is barely noticeable and being low carb and lower calorie far outweighs that very slight difference.
