This is something I like to throw together when I don’t have enough energy left in the evening to wield my trusty spatula. It’s cheap, easy and ready in seconds.
The beauty of the screw cap also comes to the fore here, as you can get the wine from bottle to glass within seconds. And, should you wish to save some for another day, simply screw the cap back on, and put it in the fridge.
What to use
A bottle of your favourite white wine – chilled – if you are unprepared, add some ice cubes
One medium avocado – ripe
How to use it
Unscrew the cap of the bottle of wine. Take a glass vessel from wherever you keep them, and pour in the wine until approx. half full.
Slice the avocado in half, and eat with a teaspoon.
