CALORIE FREE! (Joke)
Has it really been four years since I wrote a blog?
This came up on Facebook memories today. I’d forgotten making it but will do it again for Shaun’s next visit to Yorkshire (where I am now residing).
This is a creamy smoked fish and prawn pasta done originally using pasta from a birthday hamper from my family 😍
These days I would use less high fat dairy – substitute double cream / milk with oat cream / milk and Parmesan for cheddar maybe. We shall see…
Here is the original recipe – as usual not good with quantities, just wing it for the amount you need:
Medium heat: fry chopped garlic in a little olive oil, add milk, poach the fish, (smoked haddock and cod) add double cream, lemon juice, parsley, grated cheddar, season to taste, then 5 mins before ready to eat add the prawns until pink, and serve!
