What to use
- As many sweet potatoes as you want to eat
- Olive oil
- Sea salt
- Chilli flakes (optional)
How to use it
Wash and cut the potatoes into chips. I did mine skin on.
When baking potato wedges in the past they always stuck to the tray. The trick seems to be to heat the baking tray first. So put it in to the oven at 200C to get hot.
Pour a table spoon of olive oil over the chips and crush over some sea salt, then toss the chips to make sure they’re all coated.
Put them onto the hot baking tray and give them a shake – they should sizzle.
Then bake for approx 20 minutes.
Serve with a bit more salt and a few chilli flakes.
What to watch: I’ve just started 24 from scratch.
